Flight

These are my characters, Fallon and Crane! They both come from a comic of mine called the Defector, which I am currently making a backlog of pages for.

I had intended for this to be a cover for the chapter wherein Crane first appears, but It ended up being kind of a quick (or at least, quicker than I normally do) illustration where I try out some stuff.

I had fun, though! I finally sat down and tried to figure out the logistics of Crane's stupid armor. He's a general so he doesn't see a TON of close combat fighting, but he does act as royal guard sometimes to appease royal pride, which he hates because it is a waste of time. But when he does, he wears really light protection. His combat philosophy is that offense is the best defense, so really he just wants stuff that is easy to move in with as little hindrance as possible. I still need to figure out his formal uniform though, and also his knight style armor, too, though he probably loathes both of them. So utilitarian!
